A ceramist and interior designer based in Roubaix, Guylène Galantine explores the encounter between matter and movement.

After a career in fashion at Chloé, she trained in interior architecture and then in ceramics, discovering the shaping of clay with Sandrine Hurtrer at the Jouret workshops.

Her pieces, inspired by contemporary art, brutalism and nature, are handcrafted in stoneware or porcelain.

Between balance and imbalance, Guylène seeks the perfectly imperfect — an aesthetic of the living, where each object tells the story of the gesture and the strength of the material

Collaborations & Exhibitions

My work is part of a dialogue between the hand, the material, and the gaze.
Some encounters extend this dialogue — with brands, places, or other artists who
share a common sensibility.

 Léna Perraguin – Studio Impressive
From this encounter between ceramics and rye straw was born NINA, a sculptural lamp
presented at the Révélations Biennale – Grand Palais, May 2025.
The white stoneware base, handcrafted in my workshop, engages in a dialogue with the lampshade woven by Léna
Perraguin (Impressive Studio).
Two gestures, two materials, a shared quest for balance between strength and delicacy.
NINA explores light as a breath, at the crossroads of the mineral and the vegetal.
Dimensions: on request
Materials: white sandstone, rye straw
